A journalist for 15 years, I've worked on the features desks of magazines including Grazia, Cosmopolitan and Fabulous in positions such as Features Director and Entertainment Editor. As a freelance writer I also contribute to publications including The Pool, The Telegraph, Glamour, Marie Claire, Refinery29 in the UK and Seventeen and Cosmopolitan in the US.
I specialise in lifestyle and culture, with a bit of travel whenever I get the chance. Recently I've written an ode to bookshops, reported on the rise of women-only spaces, interviewed the most right-swiped people on Tinder and spent a week trying to befriend robots.
I also write on entertainment for magazines including Cosmopolitan and Grazia, keeping an eye out for the books, films, TV and podcasts we'll all be obsessed with next, interviewing authors such as Gillian Flynn, Cheryl Strayed and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and probing celebrities like Jorja Smith, Camila Cabello and Kristen Bell about their own cultural habits.
In the commercial sphere I've done copywriting and created branded content for companies including L'Oreal, Tiffany & Co, Vue Cinemas, Marks and Spencer, Tom Ford, Dove, MasterCard, Jo Malone and Sony Xperia, working on everything from longform features to snappy email and social copy.
I'm currently based in Oxford, with regular jaunts up to London.
